About us
HELD Technologie GmbH has been a high-performance machinery manufacturer for more than 75 years, supplying numerous key industries worldwide with isobaric double-belt presses. Our systems are used wherever scalability, precision, energy efficiency, and material quality are critical.
We are not just a manufacturer of industrial machinery. We are shaping the future of industrial processing. We supply almost every industry and transform ideas into efficient and innovative solutions. The materials produced on our double-belt presses may not always be visible at first glance, but they are essential. They enable comfort, safety, design & aesthetics, efficiency, and sustainable solutions for everyday life. From comfortable living spaces and mobile communication with laptops and smartphones, to sustainable energy through hydrogen solutions, mobility and lightweight applications, and even defense.
As diverse as the industries are, so are the properties of the materials: scratch-resistant, heat-resistant, durable, clean-touch, robust, resistant to UV radiation, and much more.

Products & Services
Double belt presses from HELD are the ideal production systems for the continuous production of sheet and plate materials when using the through-feed method. Using various processes, such as continuous laminating, compacting, consolidation and smoothing, they allow different materials to be processed, such as films, fabrics, mats of fibres, granulates or powders.
In each case, the respective components are run through the press between two endless steel belts - either individually or together. At the intake and the outlet, these steel belts are looped around heated steel drums. Pressure plates, with which heat and pressure are applied to the conveyed materials, are located between them in the so-called reaction zone. The temperature zones can be individually adjusted.
E222 - New generation of isobaric double belt press - Red Dot winner 2025
On 26 September 2024, HAILEY celebrated its premiere as part of our 75th company anniversary celebrations - a significant day in the history of HELD.
HAILEY is the first machine of the new generation and has a completely new design and many highlights. Over 100 innovative ideas have been realised during development.
LEDs indicate the loading. This means that material can be intuitively loaded onto the unwinder. A modern user interface based on current user experience requirements makes it easier to operate the already highly automated double belt press. Settings such as ‘Automatic machine start at time X’ and smart maintenance work can be scheduled via the new HMI. Automation leads to increased productivity and optimised machine utilisation.
Front view. The LED strip is the visual highlight and eye-catcher of the new generation. The significant light curve shows the temperature inside the reaction zone based on software that calculates the current temperature and outputs a corresponding colour as a ‘heat equivalent’. The gradient can be customised according to customer requirements.
Revolutionary belt and seal change - More time for the essentials: The customers' material! A new spindle concept simplifies the replacement of steel belts and seals The spindles, which connect the upper and lower press structure, can be raised completely. A significantly reduced maintenance time leads to less downtime and cuts costs
