Electrolysis – Materials for Efficient Hydrogen Production
GKD develops technical wire meshes and functional materials for various electrolysis technologies such as alkaline electrolysis, AEM, and SOEC. These materials are used, among other things, as electrode materials or current distributors, improving electrochemical reactions, efficiency, and process stability.
Through optimized surface structure, conductivity, and mechanical stability, the materials contribute to producing hydrogen economically and at scale.
Fuel Cells – Mesh for Energy Conversion
Special metal meshes from GKD are used in fuel cells as contact media or current distributors. Thanks to defined porosity and high electrical conductivity, they support efficient power generation and overall system performance.
