Fireye InSight® flame scanners (H2 Ready)
The Fireye InSight® flame scanners are versatile, fully microprocessor-based, integrated scanners. All InSight flamescanners have been approved by multiple worldwide safety agencies. The InSight scanners utilize advanced techniques for discrimination and integrate the flame detection, amplification, safety determination and flame switch functions into a single detection head. No separate amplifier or flame switch module is therefore required to interface with the main burner management system. Automated Lear-On and Lear-Off of the flame.
The scanners measure the amplitude of the modulations (the flame “flicker”) that occur within the targeted flame. During the scanner set- up procedure, the modulation frequency that yields the best flame ON/OFF discrimination is selected. The appropriate modulation frequency and sensor gain can be either manually or automatically selected. The InSight II scanners are dual cell and utilize UV and IR detectors and various levels of housing type including NFPA 70 (NEC Class I Div 2) and ATEX ExdIIC.
InTense Flame Sensor for Harsh Environments (H2 Ready)
Fireye’s industry leading flame sensing technology now extends to the extreme conditions of gas turbine applications. Designed to be a direct replacement for obsolete, legacy, and current flame detection sensors. Fireye’s new sensor is the latest in turbine flame detection technology. Purpose built to withstand the most InTense environments, it is ready to use out of the box. No tuning or setup is required
H2 Ready
SureFire II High Energy Spark Igniter
The SureFire II High Energy Spark Igniter (HESI) is use for direct spark ignition of most gas or liquid fuels used in oil or gas pilots or main burners. The igniter is available in either direct spark rod connection or cable connect spark rod configuration. Spark rods can be various lengths to suit requirements.
SureFire II Portable High Energy Spark Igniter
The portable High Energy Spark Igniter (HEP-2) includes an electronic 2kV ignition module powered from an internal battery pack and an integrated mains power charger. The unit is designed for safe hand operation for ignition of gas burners in a range of applications which include refineries and furnaces. It may also be used to light small No. 2 oil burners.
The portable device is equipped with a pushbutton to start the sparking system. To prevent accidental ignition, it is necessary to first turn the unit on, then to operate a separate pushbutton. The unit will spark until the button is released.
SureFire II Natural Draft / Forced Draft Gas Pilots
32mm OD or 48mm OD Natural Draft / Forced Draft Gas Pilots
Fireye SureFire II Gas Pilots are reliable and suitable for a majority of Power Generation, Refinery and Petrochemical applications.
The SureFire gas pilots are available with an outer diameter of 32 or 48 mm, for intermittent or continuous duty and class 1 to 3 applications. The pilot is constructed of high-quality materials and each unit is checked and tested before dispatch. Provides a stable flame for ignition repeatability and no moving parts ensure long, trouble-free operation with low maintenance costs.
Burner Controls and Flame Safeguard
Fireye offers a comprehensive range of flame safeguard controls designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability across a wide array of industrial applications. Our advanced burner management solutions are trusted in industries such as power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, and HVAC.
The BurnerPRO™, BurnerLogix™, Flame-Monitor™, and MicroM™ product families provide safe and reliable light-off and monitoring for packaged burners used on commercial and industrial boilers, direct-fired makeup air units, and commercial hot water heaters. These systems are engineered to prevent hazardous conditions, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with demanding safety and emissions standards.
Combustion Controls
The Fireye NXF4000 is an advanced burner management controller with an internal flame safeguard, designed to operate burners firing liquid or gaseous fuels. NXF4000 supports up to four servos and two VFD channels per profile, optional touchscreen interface, 15 configurable digital inputs, optional valve proving, thermal shock, hot standby, integrated peer-to-peer sequencing and more. Add-on options include oxygen trim, plant master for centralized control and communication gateway to support most BMS/PLC/SCADA needs.
Compact ignition module
The high-frequency ignition device IZG100-IC generates an ignition voltage of 6kV. The ignition energy is 2J per second. The supply voltage of 24V DC is provided via a plug connection with a screw ring, which serves as a securing. The high-voltage cable is replaceable.
The usage of a commercially available spark plug for combustion engines without resistance must be used. An LED on the IZG100-IC signals a spark detection during ignition. A potential-free relay contact for ignition spark detection can be connected via the connector on the supply voltage side. The contact is closed as long as an ignition current is detected.
Self-monitoring Ionization Flame Safeguard
The ionization flame monitor IG49 is a self-monitoring flame monitor, approved in accordance with DIN EN298 for continuous operation, for gas burners of anycapacity, with or without fan and is used for monitoring industrial burners in furnaces in refineries and in the petrochemical industry, where a maximum of safety and availability is required.
The ionization flame detector is available for 24 VDC, 115 VAC and 230 VAC for DIN rail mounting. Requirements in a SIL2 environment and up to 230VAC supply voltage for the contacts of the safety circuit are explained in the manual.
