Heavy-duty long-haul game changer with TCO benchmark performance
The next generation of highly efficient fuel cell systems
Our NextGen fuel cell system is the answer to the heavy-duty long-haul requirements. More than 30 years of experience in fuel cell system development, and optimization and production with automotive focus have culminated in this system. The next generation offers one compact unit with expected TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) benchmark performance to accelerate the possibilities for the future of mobility and trucks. Compared to the last generation we have improved our fuel cell system in a number of ways:
o 20% lower fuel consumption
o 40% less waste heat at 300 kW net power
o 40% higher power density
o 40% less complexity
This makes the fuel cell system even more attractive for use in long-haul trucks and the like, thanks to its low weight, long range and high flexibility, combined with a single system package.
